Our Creed: Defy the orthodoxy of Modernity

We celebrate dissent and creativity, inspired by spiritual punk. Heretix is a sanctuary for those who reject the contemporary and embrace the symbolic.

One day the wheels will fall off—for all of us, for different reasons. But skating was never just the board, the wheels, or the pavement. It’s expression. It’s resilience. It’s how we interpret the world and move through it by means of motion, music, art, and aesthetic.

Skateboarding has always lived at the edge—called counterculture, labeled a problem, carried by those willing to stand at odds with authority and convention. That tension is part of its truth.

Today’s culture is a synthesis of all heresies, and Heretix meets it head on—drawing from what is true, good, and beautiful, and reworking it through the language of the sacred street. Not to recreate the past, but to carry it forward.

We are what comes next. Be a part of it. Be a Misfit of the Modern World

Jazza T. Production manager

Oceanside, CA

Joey has been shaped by skate culture since the 80s and 90s—cutting his teeth on the streets of a different era and carrying that influence forward ever since. Now based in Oceanside, he’s spent decades moving through North County, from the streets of Vista to the wider scene, always tied to the same current.

He's a 100% Disabled Veteran and After the Marines, he’s worked alongside military and first responder communities, building a life grounded in service—while staying rooted in skateboarding and the music that shaped him.

Heretix is his way of putting something back into the culture—an expression of ideas through image, symbol, and suggestion. Not everything is spelled out. Not everything is as it seems at first glance. It’s not supposed to be. The meaning is there for those whose eyes are open enough to see it. Instagram: @joey_heretix

Elwood East coast sales Manager

North East Ohio

Raised on the east side of Cleveland, Elwood came up skating backyard ramps through the 80s and 90s, shaped early by the raw energy of the vert scene. Nothing was handed to him—he put in the work, even milking cows to earn his first pro-style board.

At 18, active duty in the United States Marine Corps took him to Southern California, where he continued skating, surfing, and pushing progression wherever he could find it. It was there he found a second path through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA—eventually building a clothing brand and running his own fight venue.

Elwood brings that same independent, self-built mindset to Heretix, now leading East Coast sales and working directly with skate shops. For him, Heretix isn’t just product—it’s a return to the culture that shaped him: individual expression inside a tight-knit community, what some might call controlled chaos.

Take care. Comb your hair.
