Beautiful Reasons: An Evening with Dave Nilson and Friends
If you’re in Vista on November 6, come out to Booze Brothers, enjoy the music, and support Dave and the musicians sharing the stage with him. It should be a good night to reconnect with friends, hear songs from The Cry in a new setting, and spend some time around the creative community that makes shows like this possible. We hope to see you there.

A Night Worth Showing Up For
We’re looking forward to an evening of music, friendship, and familiar creative energy when Dave Nilson takes the stage at Booze Brothers in Vista. Dave is a member of the Heretix advisory board, and we’re excited to support him as he brings a special musical project to life alongside members of Occupier.
The project is called Beautiful Reasons, a name connected to The Cry, Dave’s first band. The set will feature music from The Cry, performed by Dave with members of Occupier. For anyone who has followed Dave’s work, this is a chance to hear these songs in a new setting. For everyone else, it’s an opportunity to spend an evening with musicians who care about what they do and the people they share it with.
About Beautiful Reasons
Beautiful Reasons takes its name from a Cry album while giving this collection of songs a new shape. With Dave joined by members of Occupier, the project brings together different parts of the local music community for a special night. It’s the kind of collaboration that grows from shared connections, mutual respect, and a genuine love of playing music together.
That spirit feels familiar to the friendships and creative energy surrounding Heretix. Dave’s connection to Heretix is one part of that wider community, and we’re happy to help share the word about a show that means something to the people involved. We would like to thank vista viking festival and booze brothers for putting on this show—we will see you there as friends and fans who are glad to see Dave and the musicians behind Beautiful Reasons get a night together.
